Wellington Fire Department looking to recruit more volunteer firefighters
The Wellington Fire Department is looking to take on up to five new volunteer firefighters this week. Currently the department in southwestern P.E.I. has 30 people on its roster, and they're looking for more.

2026 Seniors Community Meal Grant
The Department of Social Development and Seniors (SDS) is committed to finding ways to promote access to healthy meals and reduce social isolation for seniors. The Seniors Community Meal Grant provides funding to eligible organizations to assist with the costs of providing free, communal meals to seniors.
