The world is experiencing a crisis of unparalleled intensity. As people across the globe continue to live in isolation, one small but important part of their mental health and well being has been compromised – the ability to exercise. Sport, the great uniter of people and nations, has been pushed to the sidelines, because one of its greatest virtues – bringing people together – is the very thing that we as a society can no longer do. The NBA, NFL and NHL have all cancelled their seasons. Soccer matches globally have been cancelled. Marathons from Tokyo to Paris have been cancelled. The Olympics have been cancelled. But a strange thing has happened. Around the world in every country, in whatever way possible, people are taking to the streets to do the one thing they can do. RUN. New runners, old runners, out of shape runners and runners with disabilities. We can’t run together. But we can run alone, in large numbers. We can put on our shoes and run. On our balconies. In our neighbourhoods, in our living rooms. We can run to preserve our sanity, our humanity. We can run to bring breath into our bodies and to remember what freedom feels like. GranFondoPEI is the signature event of Cycling PEI (CPEI). The event offers cyclists three days of riding through beautiful Queens County PEI; along the South and North Shores, and through the central hills. CPEI exists for the benefit of its members, partners and the general public, Cycling PEI provides education and leadership that contributes to a vibrant and healthy cycling experience on Prince Edward Island.

Hope Empowers began in 2022 by Patrick Ssenyonjo, who was a child from the slums. With 15 years' experience serving slum children through Raising Up Hope for Uganda, he saw a huge, unmet need to train older street boys with a skill - a 'last chance' opportunity to escape slum life. His vision was a 1-year program to get kids stabilized in a residential setting, teach a vocational skill and resettle them as productive members to their familial community. From here, Hope Empowers was born. Our community outreach quickly found a need to minister to unwed, pregnant girls. The Esuubi (Hope) Program started in August 2022

The ReStore is a home décor,  building supply and home renovation store that accepts and resells new and gently-used items. Proceeds from the ReStore fund Habitat for Humanity PEI, which constructs Habitat homes for hard-working low income families in the province. Supporting the ReStore helps deserving Island families achieve the dream of home ownership.

Harbourfront Theatre is a 520 seat performing arts venue located on the beautiful Summerside waterfront. Prince Edward Island's second largest live theatre, we are host to both local and community productions and world renowned touring acts.

Hear PEI is a non-profit organization on PEI, run by volunteers, and works to: - Build awareness & provide information on hearing related topics - Holds regular meetings with guest speakers on hearing related topics - Foster speech-reading classes - Encourage hearing accessibility in public places

The Heart and Stroke Foundation | PEI is a non-profit health charity dedicated to reducing death and disability from heart disease and stroke among Islanders. We are a volunteer-driven organization. Volunteers help us fulfill our mission by participating at every level of our activities. Volunteers guide the long-term planning and direction of the Foundation through their membership on our Board of Directors. They help raise funds by participating in our Person-to-Person (P2P) campaign during Heart Month and other events. They deliver our health promotion programs, including CPR courses, and others. Volunteers are our most valued resource, the heart of our organization, and number more than 130,000 strong across Canada.

Hospice PEI is a community of caring individuals making each day count for Islanders and their families through our volunteer led hospice support, comfort, and care programs, as well as advocacy and education for quality palliative and hospice care. We also support Island families after a loved one’s death through our grief support services.

IRSA's mandate is to provide short-term settlement services and deliver long-term inclusion and community participation programs for new immigrants settling in the province of Prince Edward Island.

WHO WE ARE: Island Nature Trust is a membership-based, non-government, Canadian charity dedicated to land conservation in Prince Edward Island since 1979. We envision a future where P.E.I. has a network of protected, robust natural areas championed by knowledgeable, engaged Islanders. WHAT WE DO: Island Nature Trust acquires, manages and protects forever a network of connected natural areas throughout PEI for the benefit of wildlife and people. We are a key provider of technical, science-based knowledge on land stewardship and wildlife in PEI for landowners, governments and partner environmental groups. We provide mentorship and employment opportunities to people committed to land stewardship, conservation research and wildlife monitoring who will continue building on the long tradition of Island Nature Trust as the premiere land trust on the Island.

Jack.org is a Canadian charity that trains and empowers young leaders in every province and territory to improve youth mental health outcomes in their communities. Our work aims to enhance young people's ability to recognize struggle in both themselves and their peers, seek out appropriate mental health support and resources, and advocate for systems that are better able to meet the diverse and complex needs of young people. Our goal is to ensure that every young person in the country gets the help they deserve.
