At the Connelly Laboratory for Organizational Behaviour Research, we study how workplaces are changing and how employees are reacting to these changes. We focus on workers who are often overlooked: part-time workers, independent contractors, “temps”, mobile workers, temporary foreign workers and workers with disabilities.

The Arthritis Society's mission is to provide leadership and funding in research, advocacy and solutions to improve the quality of life for the 6 million Canadians affected by arthritis. Arthritis is a chronic disease that has a devastating impact on the lives of about 27,000 Islanders (1 in 5 Islanders), making it Prince Edward Island's most common chronic health condition. The Arthritis Society empowers people to live their lives to the fullest by fighting the limitations that arthritis can impose on day-to-day life while at the same time, working for an ultimate cure. The PEI Division is the leading source of information for Islanders living with arthritis and their families, helping people learn more about their disease and to be better self-managers. The Canadian Cancer Society is a national, community-based organization of volunteers whose mission is the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality of life of people living with cancer.

Crohn’s and Colitis Canada is the only national, volunteer-based charity focused on finding the cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis and improving the lives of children and adults affected by these diseases. We are one of the top two health charity funders of Crohn’s and colitis research in the world, investing over $130 million in research since 1974, leading to important breakthroughs in genetics, gut microbes, inflammation and cell repair as well as laying the groundwork for new and better treatments. We are transforming the lives of people affected by Crohn’s and colitis (the two main forms of inflammatory bowel disease) through research, patient programs, advocacy, and awareness.

The Halifax Helpers was established to make sure that all students receive the academic support they require to become fearless learners. We provide free online tutoring and language sessions for elementary, junior high school, and high school students in the maritimes and beyond.

TeamUP Science is excited to bring you an all-new virtual event series for junior high students! The Canada CyberSTEAM Challenge (C3) is a series of six 48-hour challenges that students in grades 6-9 located anywhere in Canada can complete alone or with a partner in the comfort of their own homes. C3 aims to provide youth from rural or underprivileged communities with academic enrichment opportunities that they would not otherwise have access to. C3 aims to create an international community of youth united in their passion for science, technology, engineering, arts, and math.

The Epilepsy Association of the Maritimes, as its mandate, offers education, support and advocacy to enable our clients to increase their quality of life, to grow and prosper in this world. We encourage utilization of supports offered within our organization and in the wider community, to help overcome the obstacles still present in society and increase justice, equity, diversity and inclusion for those living with epilepsy. Our programs enhance support and education to our vulnerable population, engaging them in understanding all facets of their disease and assisting them to obtain the therapeutic interventions they so badly need. We also offer education and support to businesses or community groups whose affiliates are impacted by epilepsy.

The East Coast Music Association (ECMA) shines a spotlight on the regions’ music industry, preserving and promoting East Coast talent at home and around the world. As a member driven organization, we create opportunities for growth and connection within the music industry. For over 30 years, the East Coast Music Association has developed, advanced, and celebrated East Coast music, its artists, and industry professionals throughout the region and around the world. Through our extensive experience, we understand the complex challenges facing East coast musicians, as well as our ability to make the world a better place through music. We advocate for all persons and families impacted by epilepsy.  We provide educational sessions in school and employment settings.  We provide scholarships.  Every year we hold an amazing Gala to celebrate our members and our community.

Our mission is straightforward: to give people in need quick and reliable access to essential food resources. By bridging the gap between communities and food assistance programs, The Free Food empowers users to find support when and where they need it most. With real-time information, multilingual accessibility, and a growing database of food banks, The Free Food is more than a directory—it is a tool of compassion, connecting people with hope, dignity, and the help they deserve.
