Misson Statement
The Friends of Eastern Kings Heritage Inc. (Friends) is a non-profit organization committed to providing and supporting cultural tourism attractions in the Eastern Kings area by operating the East Point Lighthouse and supporting the Elmira Railway Museum. The Friends own the East Point Lighthouse which is "Canada's Confederation Lighthouse". It is the only Lighthouse built in 1867 that is still standing and operating.
The Friends are the non-profit Board for the Elmira Railway Museum, who provides support to the PEI Museum and Heritage.
The vision of Friends of Eastern Kings Heritage Inc. is to be community leaders in supporting cultural tourism by preserving and sharing local heritage

St. John Ambulance volunteers provide over a million hours of volunteer service to Canadian communities each year. Our nationally-recognized core community service programs include:
Therapy Dog Program-Â Volunteers and their dogs provide regular visitation to hospitals, seniors' residences, nursing homes, or a growing number of institutions on a regular basis. Through petting, affection, and consistent visitation, many people benefit both physically and emotionally from the unconditional love of a dog. Volunteers and their dogs go through an evaluation to ensure they are a comfortable visiting in these environments.
Volunteer Medical Responders (VMR)- are a group of uniformed individuals trained to a minimum of Standard First Aid, who volunteer their time to provide First Aid services at a wide variety of public events (sporting, cultural, musical, etc.). By being there, SJA volunteers are “first on the scene” in the critical minutes until medical assistance arrives.

Emergency Medical Care Inc. has made a commitment to involve citizens in establishing priorities and making decisions that matter to them and impact their lives, our community and the sustainability of our health care system.
The EMC TeleHealth Patient and Family Advisory Committee is committed to providing excellent care for the patients and families of our communities. We are looking for Patient and Family Advisors to provide input to our TeleHealth Services.
We are seeking 2-4 community-minded individuals to bring a patient and/or family/caregiver point of view and voice. No special knowledge or skills are needed. The ideal person is someone who can use their experience as a patient or family member/caregiver to help shape the care we provide.
The Cornwall & Area Watershed Group is a community-based group whose goal is to enhance the water quality and health of our local waterways, to restore and protect wildlife habitats, and to improve active living through increased recreational opportunities.
Our group includes community residents, farmers, landowners, and government in collaborative watershed planning and active support for environmental stewardship.
At Volunteer PEI, we take pride in linking people with local nonprofit community organizations, supporting persons with disabilities, new Canadians, corporations and professionals connect to organizations in and around the province, helping individuals develop skills to advance their careers, and developing knowledge resources that support effective and efficient volunteer capacity.
Music PEI, founded in 2001 as the Prince Edward Island Music Awards Association, is a non-profit member services organization devoted to advancing careers of Island musicians. Music PEI is actively seeking ways to promote, foster and develop artists and the music industry on PEI. The Association acts as an advocate for the Island music industry and a representative at the national table.
Behind every person with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias, there are hundreds of people dedicated to helping. The Alzheimer Society is the leading not-for-profit health organization working nationwide to improve the quality of life for Canadians affected by Alzheimer's disease and other dementias and advance the search for the cause and cure. We are located in every province across Canada and in over 150 local communities.
Since 1989, we've been dedicated to providing help for people with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias and their caregivers. That help comes in many ways.
The Alzheimer Society of PEI is comprised of a team of caring and dedicated professionals committed to fulfilling the mission of the Alzheimer Society of Prince Edward, which is to support and assist Islanders affected by Alzheimer and Related Dementias.
The Society is responsible for raising the level of awareness, providing programs, education and support services to all those affected by the disease.

GranFondoPEI is the signature event of Cycling PEI (CPEI). The event offers cyclists three days of riding through beautiful Queens County PEI; along the South and North Shores, and through the central hills. CPEI exists for the benefit of its members, partners and the general public, Cycling PEI provides education and leadership that contributes to a vibrant and healthy cycling experience on Prince Edward Island.
