Opportunity Description:

We’re looking for community-minded folks to help guide the future of the Cornwall & Area Watershed Group. Our board plays a vital role in shaping our vision, supporting our team, and strengthening the impact we have in our watershed and community. As a nonprofit, we rely on the experience, oversight, and guidance of our directors to help us grow responsibly and stay true to our mission. You don’t need a background in science or nature to get involved – just a willingness to show up, share your voice, and help us take care of this special place. We value a wide range of skills, experiences, and perspectives. What to expect: We meet once a month at the Cornwall Town Hall. Several positions are available. Time commitments can vary depending on the role. You must be 18 or older to join the board, but we encourage young people to get involved! Volunteer hours can count toward the Community Service Bursary or Duke of Edinburgh Award. Whether you’re a lifelong local or new to the area, your ideas and energy are welcome here.
