PROGRAM OVERVIEW Help keep our communities and roadways safe. Raise awareness about the dangers of impaired driving (alcohol and / or drugs). Distribute free promotional items (i.e., pencils, magnets, red ribbons, stickers, literature, resource materials, etc…) to community members at community events (i.e., health fairs, mall displays, school displays, restaurants / bars). COMMITMENT 6 months RESPONSIBILITIES: KEY TASKS / ACTIVITIES Attend community events (as requested). Educate community members / groups about the dangers of impaired driving; provide tips and talk about MADD Canada’s prevention and education programs (i.e., Project Red Ribbon campaign, School Assembly Program, Sobriety Checkpoints, etc.). Distribute free promotional items, literature and resource materials. Be knowledgeable about MADD Canada’s policies, programs and services. Promote the Chapter positively within your community. TRAINING You will be supported and trained by a committee chair / committee member / board member and / or the Chapter Administrative Assistant.
