As a volunteer coordinator with Tetra your efforts would include: – connecting with members of P.E.I’s disabled community (and their representative organizations) to inform and educate them about Tetra’s services. – recruiting technical volunteers (e.g., expertise in carpentry, metalwork, electrical, needlework, etc.) who would meet with clients to design and construct/adapt/modify devices as needed. There is no charge for any labour or materials to the client. This is being offered as a part-time position (12-15 hrs. per month) leading potentially to a paid contract position. Supports (e.g., promotional materials, kilometrage, mentoring, etc.) will be provided to you, the successful candidate, through the Atlantic Regional Coordinator.
