If you’re looking for a short-term yet impactful volunteer opportunity, consider volunteering your time during the month of April for The Canadian Cancer Society’s Daffodil campaign. From April 11- 20, live daffodils are being sold at participating retail locations across Prince Edward Island and we’re in urgent need of volunteers to help coordinate the sales! What’s expected of you? In short, you will: – Schedule volunteers for shifts selling daffodils (3hr shifts minimum) – Set up and put away the display table at the beginning and end of the day – Collect money at the end of the day & deposit it in the specified bank – Be available by phone during the campaign in case anything comes up or if your Canadian Cancer Society staff lead needs to get a hold of you Areas where volunteers are needed: Belfast Hampshire Morell Murray Harbour Murray River O’Leary Wellington Summerside
