Earth Rangers is an environmental non-profit that empowers youth to take action for the environment. Our ER Teens program offers an opportunity for young Canadians aged 13-18 to take initiative for environmental causes they care about, such as wildlife conservation, climate change, sustainability, and more. By working remotely with staff, teens volunteer their time to complete an eco-action project of their choice; at home, at school, in their community, or online. Our flexible program ensures that teens can work at their own pace, while having the support and resources they need to make a positive impact.

MADD Canada's mission is to stop impaired driving and to support victims of this violent crime.

We strive to raise awareness of intergenerational connection and establish a custom of respecting and caring for seniors among younger generations. We will solve many senior-related social issues such as social isolation and the generation gap, if we get to the root of the problem. Encouraging the custom of youth engagement and respect for seniors is the solution. If we can instill these values in our youth, the issue of senior isolation will disappear. Mission Statement Our mission is: - To provide services for domestic animals in the event of emergencies and disasters. - To train volunteers to provide rescue and emergency shelter for domestic animals when responding during emergencies and disasters. - To raise funds for supplies, medical treatment for animals, training costs and expenses incurred by volunteers during emergencies and disasters.

Kids Help Phone is a charity, known for our expertise and continuous innovation as Canada’s only 24/7 professional counselling, information, and referral service for young people. Since 1989, we have offered kids, teens, and young adults a critical lifeline of hope and support through our free, anonymous service, which research shows significantly improves youth mental health through our phone, Live Chat and Always There chat app. But technology is changing, and so must we – to create a future where every young person will access the support they need, in the way they need it most. That’s why we’re preparing to launch a 24/7 Texting Service using trained volunteers.

The Event To date, Lawn Summer Nights has raised over $3,400,000, generated awareness of cystic fibrosis among thousands of people who had little previous exposure to it, introduced thousands of young people to philanthropy and community engagement, and started a new trend that has taken everyone by surprise (us included!). Founded in 2009, LSN is a nationally trademarked and federally registered not-for-profit organization in Canada. the event is driven by volunteer young professionals who form each city's organizing committee, and supported by a National Manager as well as the Board of Directors. The event currently operates in Victoria, Vancouver, Tsawwassen, Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Windsor, Chatham, Simcoe, London, Brantford, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Charlottetown, and Halifax. Each city’s event brings together two hundred people in their twenties and thirties throughout July. The participants arrive wearing fun team uniforms that honor creative team names, indulge in delicious menus of food and cocktails, all while reviving one of summertime’s classic leisure sports: lawn bowling. The Story Eva Markvoort is our inspiration to support Cystic Fibrosis Canada. Eva spent a lifetime battling cystic fibrosis, but made it her life’s work to build awareness and help to find a cure for the disease. Sadly, Eva lost her own fight with cystic fibrosis on March 27, 2010. She was 25 years old. We are proud to be a part of Eva’s legacy and our event will continue to accomplish what Eva championed the most – enjoying life and finding a cure for cystic fibrosis.

Ovarian Cancer Canada champions the health and wellbeing of women with ovarian cancer and others at risk of this disease while advancing research to save lives. As the only registered Canadian charity solely dedicated to overcoming ovarian cancer, the organization provides leadership in research, advocacy, and support, so that women live fuller, better, longer lives.

Beyond The Wards Canada is an initiative that aims to highlight the contributions of under-recognized frontline workers that have been largely left out by mainstream media. While we don’t want to take light away from the healthcare workers who are tirelessly fighting COVID-19, it’s important for us to look beyond the hospital wards and see the heroes that occupy our day-to-day lives too. During this challenging time, our goal is to provide everyday heroes with extra support through kind and uplifting messages of encouragement, love, and appreciation. These heroes include the people we rely on every day, such as transportation, sanitation, and postal workers. We provide a platform where individuals can submit messages of gratitude through art, written notes, letters, and even performances. These messages are sent to the workers of their choice and shared across our media platforms. Students for Herd Immunity is a Canadian not-for-profit organization working to bridge gaps in vaccine education and mobilize youth to tackle vaccine hesitancy within local communities. Students for Herd Immunity provides resource support to 2000+ schools across every Canadian province and territory and has trained student ambassadors across 200+ schools throughout North America.
