ElderDog Canada is a federally incorporated, community-based, non-profit and
registered charity.
Our primary goal is to enable older adults, living at home and with challenges
affecting dog care, to continue to benefit from their relationship with their canine
companions as long as possible.
A second major goal is to find new or temporary homes for dogs left behind by seniors, who
must move into a retirement community or nursing home, become ill, or pass away.
ElderDog has chapters (or Pawds, as we call them) in communities across
Canada – including PEI!
For more information please visit ElderDog.ca or find the PEI Pawd on Facebook at Facebook.com/ElderdogPEI.
