Canadian Blood Services

We are the connection between donors and patients, healthcare professionals and medical researchers. We are nationally responsible for a secure system of life essentials for transfusion and transplantation that’s reliable, accessible and sustainable. Every day we work diligently to help save lives, restore health and earn the nation’s trust. Established in 1998, Canadian Blood Services is an independent registered charity. We receive most of our financial support from the governments of all provinces and territories except Quebec. Regulated as a biologics manufacturer by Health Canada, we are responsible for operating the national blood and plasma supply system, as well as the national public cord blood bank. In pursuing our mission as Canada’s Biological Lifeline, we work to provide safe, reliable access to high-quality products and services required for the treatment and care of patients across the country. Our vision... To help every patient To match every need To serve every Canadian

PEI Titans Foundation Inc

The PEI Titans Foundation Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting sports and recreation in Canada, with a special focus on raising awareness and participation in diverse and culturally rich sports such as Cricket, Kabaddi, and Kho Kho. Our mission is to foster inclusivity, physical fitness, and community engagement by introducing and nurturing these sports among people of all ages and backgrounds. Through organized leagues, training programs, workshops, and community events, the PEI Titans Foundation aims to create opportunities for individuals to learn, play, and excel in these sports while celebrating their cultural significance. We believe in the power of sports to unite communities, promote healthy lifestyles, and inspire the next generation of athletes. By collaborating with local schools, community centers, and sports organizations, we strive to make these sports accessible to everyone, breaking down barriers and building a more inclusive sporting culture in Canada. Join us in our journey to champion diversity, teamwork, and the spirit of sportsmanship through the PEI Titans Foundation Inc.

Gifts From The Heart Inc.

Gifts From The Heart mandate is serving low-income island residents and those undergoing temporary hardships, for free through love and kindness. Whether it's families facing challenging times, seniors or children with food insecurities, or those facing addiction problems and those unhoused, we seek your support and contribution to make a significant difference. With rising food costs we do our best to make every dollar count. Currently, GFTH is serving over 2,000 families across PEI from our head office and we provide food, furniture, household items, personal items, and all their basic needs. We also have volunteer-manned community fridges in West Royalty, Brackley Point, and Stratford. The recent wave of new immigrants has put more pressure on our services as every day more and more families coming to Canada are requiring our services. Immigrants arriving with limited resources require assistance with basic needs. As a nonprofit organization, we rely heavily on the support of generous donors to continue our mission and expand our reach. With the support of our communities and the people of Prince Edward Island and others, we will be able to source healthier food options and be able to serve more families and communities throughout PEI. Funds will be used to purchase essential supplies, and overhead operating costs, support ongoing operations, and provide much-needed support to low-income residents. Your donations and contributions will directly benefit families and individuals across Prince Edward Island and help to keep our doors open.

ElderDog PEI

ElderDog Canada is a federally incorporated, community-based, non-profit and registered charity. Our primary goal is to enable older adults, living at home and with challenges affecting dog care, to continue to benefit from their relationship with their canine companions as long as possible. A second major goal is to find new or temporary homes for dogs left behind by seniors, who must move into a retirement community or nursing home, become ill, or pass away. ElderDog has chapters (or Pawds, as we call them) in communities across Canada - including PEI!
