We are a non-profit organization located in Charlottetown, PEI. We are a Food Bank, Soup Kitchen and Association for other Food Banks across our province; as a way to meet some of the local food needs of families and individuals.
Different volunteer roles(Included but not limited to) :

At Volunteer PEI, we take pride in linking people with local nonprofit community organizations, supporting persons with disabilities, new Canadians, corporations and professionals connect to organizations in and around the province, helping individuals develop skills to advance their careers, and developing knowledge resources that support effective and efficient volunteer capacity.
YCAN (Youth Community Action Networking) is a youth program located at the Robert Cotton Centre in Stratford that also serves in Charlottetown, Montague, and Summerside. The program assists youth to gather and identify issues in the community, choose one they would like to make a positive impact on, create a service project, and then put that project into action. The intent is to get teens more involved in their community and gain great employable skills! Multiple groups run each year with flexibility on start and end dates dependent on program needs. The YMCA of Greater Toronto is a dynamic charity offering opportunities for personal growth, community involvement and leadership. Program Description: Next Stop Canada Youth (NSCY) is a program that provides online settlement support, learning opportunities, and mentorship to pre-arrival youth ages 12 to 19 who are destined for Canada. This online program helps overseas youth prepare for immigration by providing them with the information, knowledge, and resources needed to quickly adapt and integrate into Canadian society.
