The East Coast Music Association (ECMA) shines a spotlight on the regions’ music industry, preserving and promoting East Coast talent at home and around the world. As a member driven organization, we create opportunities for growth and connection within the music industry. We provide year round support, advocacy, and recognition to professionals working across all areas of the music industry, in all stages of their careers. As passionate believers in the power of music, we understand the importance of our work. Music helps us celebrate the good times and persevere through the hard times. It helps us remember the important moments and provides a distraction from the moments we’d like to forget. It helps us focus, create and connect. It builds communities, industries and economies. For over 30 years, the East Coast Music Association has developed, advanced, and celebrated East Coast music, its artists, and industry professionals throughout the region and around the world. Through our extensive experience, we understand the complex challenges facing East coast musicians, as well as our ability to make the world a better place through music. With the best interests of our members and our communities in mind, we promise to: Always believe in the power of music to make our communities stronger; Adapt and embrace change in all facets of our operations, provide support, education, and opportunities to our members; To maintain diversity across genres, age, race, and gender identities; and Remain focused on developing and growing the industry in our region by fostering a community committed to our members’ success.

ElderDog Canada is a federally incorporated, community-based, non-profit and registered charity. Our primary goal is to enable older adults, living at home and with challenges affecting dog care, to continue to benefit from their relationship with their canine companions as long as possible. A second major goal is to find new or temporary homes for dogs left behind by seniors, who must move into a retirement community or nursing home, become ill, or pass away. ElderDog has chapters (or Pawds, as we call them) in communities across Canada - including PEI! Mission Statement Our mission is: - To provide services for domestic animals in the event of emergencies and disasters. - To train volunteers to provide rescue and emergency shelter for domestic animals when responding during emergencies and disasters. - To raise funds for supplies, medical treatment for animals, training costs and expenses incurred by volunteers during emergencies and disasters.

ECOPEI is a registered charitable environmental organization.  We work on a variety of issues, everything for agriculture to energy.  Our main effort is around our Macphail Woods Ecological Forestry Project, where we teach children and adults about nature, grow plants native to this region, and promote better forest practices.

The Epilepsy Association of the Maritimes, as its mandate, offers education, support and advocacy to enable our clients to increase their quality of life, to grow and prosper in this world. We encourage utilization of supports offered within our organization and in the wider community, to help overcome the obstacles still present in society and increase justice, equity, diversity and inclusion for those living with epilepsy. Our programs enhance support and education to our vulnerable population, engaging them in understanding all facets of their disease and assisting them to obtain the therapeutic interventions they so badly need. We also offer education and support to businesses or community groups whose affiliates are impacted by epilepsy.

We advocate for all persons and families impacted by epilepsy.  We provide educational sessions in school and employment settings.  We provide scholarships.  Every year we hold an amazing Gala to celebrate our members and our community.

Family Place is a not-for-profit community based organization offering a comprehensive range of programs and services for families with children from conception to age twelve.  We offer weekly play groups, Reggio Inspired preschool program (#L4466), parenting workshops and sessions, prenatal and postnatal programs, breastfeeding support, breast pump loan, resource library, a clothing exchange, newborn literacy bags (Books for Babies), and so much more! First Book Canada’s mission is to transform the lives of children in need by improving access to educational opportunities. Through a market-driven model, First Book Canada is creating equal access to quality education — making everything from brand new, high-quality books and educational resources, to winter coats, backpacks, and more – affordable to its member network of more than 8,000 educators who exclusively serve kids in need. First Book Canada members work in classrooms, after school and summer or early childhood programs, shelters and health clinics, libraries, community programs, and other settings serving a majority of children in need. Since 2009, First Book Canada has distributed more than 6 million books and educational resources to programs and schools serving children from low-income families in Canada. First Book Canada currently reaches hundreds of thousands of children every year.

Misson Statement The Friends of Eastern Kings Heritage Inc. (Friends) is a non-profit organization committed to providing and supporting cultural tourism attractions in the Eastern Kings area by operating the East Point Lighthouse and supporting the Elmira Railway Museum. The Friends own the East Point Lighthouse which is "Canada's Confederation Lighthouse". It is the only Lighthouse built in 1867 that is still standing and operating. The Friends are the non-profit Board for the Elmira Railway Museum, who provides support to the PEI Museum and Heritage. The vision of Friends of Eastern Kings Heritage Inc. is to be community leaders in supporting cultural tourism by preserving and sharing local heritage

The Friends of the Confederation Centre was established in 1965 when the Centre was built. The mandate of the "Friends" is to encourage interest, education  and participation in the arts and to support the goals of the Confederation Centre of the Arts. The Friends have several programs  and activities: Art To The Schools, Arts Scholarship Program for Island students, Pinch Penny Fair, Mayflower Art Auction, Annual Festive Wreath Exhibit  and Contest  and Friends Festival of Trees in addition to participating in various  fundraising. and community outreach initiatives.

GLOCAL Foundation of Canada is a non-partisan, non-profit organization striving to empower residents in Canada to integrate a solid, creative domestic engagement with a nuanced global understanding in politics, business, academics and philanthropy. We aim to provide innovative programs and cross-sectoral resources to encourage residents in Canada to be civically aware and democratically engaged through our platform YouCount.ca . Our team is composed of staff, consultants, advisors, and volunteers from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds who dedicate themselves in having Canadians’ voices heard and understood.
