Collecte de fonds et commandites Organisme : Répit du Travailleur / Worker RespiteOrganisme : Répit du Travailleur / Worker Respite Président-coordonnateur : Alain Dubé Adresse : 580, rue Saint-Jean, app. 13, Québec (Québec) Téléphone : 418-805-6607 Courriel : repit.travailleur@gmail.com Site Web : repittravailleur.blogspot.comObjet de la demandePar la présente, Répit du Travailleur / Worker Respite sollicite un financement de démarrage afin de mettre en place et de développer un projet de maison de répit à court terme et de soutien communautaire destiné aux personnes en situation de vulnérabilité.Le projet vise à offrir un milieu sécuritaire, accessible, accueillant et humain permettant à des personnes qui traversent temporairement une période de stress, d'épuisement, d'isolement, de précarité économique, de difficultés familiales ou de transition sociale de se reposer, de reprendre leur souffle, de se ressourcer et de retrouver progressivement leur autonomie.Le financement demandé permettra notamment de soutenir : le développement et la réalisation des activités;Notre missionLa mission de Répit du Travailleur est de lutter contre la pauvreté, de favoriser la réinsertion sociale et de soutenir les personnes en situation de vulnérabilité en leur offrant des services et des activités d'accompagnement, de répit, d'information, d'éducation et de soutien communautaire.L'organisme souhaite particulièrement intervenir auprès des personnes qui, sans nécessairement nécessiter des soins médicaux ou des services professionnels spécialisés, traversent des situations susceptibles de compromettre temporairement leur bien-être, leur autonomie ou leur capacité à participer pleinement à la vie sociale.Nos interventions sont de nature communautaire, éducative, préventive et non clinique. Lorsque des besoins nécessitant une intervention spécialisée sont identifiés, les personnes sont orientées vers les ressources communautaires, les professionnels ou les services appropriés.Notre approche repose sur une idée simple :Offrir du temps, un lieu sécuritaire, de l'écoute, des activités et des ressources afin de permettre à une personne en situation de vulnérabilité de reprendre son souffle et de retrouver progressivement son autonomie.L'admissibilité aux services sera déterminée selon des critères objectifs établis par l'organisme, en fonction des besoins des personnes et des ressources disponibles.Clientèle visée Les services de l’organisme s’adressent notamment :Aux personnes à faible revenu;Aux personnes vivant une situation de vulnérabilité;Aux personnes isolées socialement;Aux familles monoparentales;Aux jeunes en difficulté;Aux personnes institutionnalisées ou en réinsertion;Aux personnes vivant avec une limitation fonctionnelle ou une déficience;Aux personnes en situation d’hébergement précaire ou d’itinérance.ConclusionLe projet Répit du Travailleur répond à un besoin important : offrir aux personnes en situation de vulnérabilité un endroit où elles peuvent temporairement s'arrêter, reprendre leur souffle, se reposer, être écoutées et accompagnées, et retrouver les ressources nécessaires pour poursuivre leur cheminement.Notre vision est de créer un milieu humain, sécuritaire, accessible et inclusif, qui agit comme un pont entre la personne en difficulté et les ressources disponibles dans la communauté.Le financement de démarrage représente une étape déterminante pour permettre la réalisation concrète de cette initiative et assurer la mise en place des conditions nécessaires à son développement.Nous sollicitons donc l'appui financier de votre organisme afin de contribuer au démarrage et au développement du projet Répit du Travailleur.Nous sommes convaincus qu'un investissement dans le répit, l'accompagnement et la réinsertion sociale constitue un investissement direct dans la dignité, l'autonomie, le bien-être et la participation sociale des personnes en situation de vulnérabilité.Nous vous remercions sincèrement de l'attention portée à notre demande. Movers and Drivers are the backbone of the organization, as they carry out the mission on the ground by moving clients’ belongings to safety. In a group of 2-7 movers/drivers, guided by a detailed itinerary, volunteers will load/unload the client’s belongings into a vehicle and transport the client to the predetermined location. Rental vehicles are provided for the move, and movers who have a valid driver’s license are welcome to register as drivers.This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make a significant impact through volunteering their time in a hands-on capacity for small chunks of time. The duration of each move varies, with an average of about 4-6 hours long from the vehicle rental pick-up time. Each move will be characterized based on the risk level and accordingly be escorted by local police, security guards, or neither. Our moves will often entail driving within and sometimes outside of the city. Further information will be shared with volunteers on a per-move basis. With our flexible volunteering model, you can sign up to volunteer on moves according to your availability.
