The PEI Aboriginal Sports Circle is on the move again! We have members representing Mi’kmaq Confederacy of PEI, Lennox Island, Abegweit, the Native Council of PEI and the provincial government. The Circle will aim to increase grassroots participation in sport for Aboriginals on Prince Edward Island, and to help improve the health of these communities through sport promotion and programming at the community and provincial level.
GranFondoPEI is the signature event of Cycling PEI (CPEI). The event offers cyclists three days of riding through beautiful Queens County PEI; along the South and North Shores, and through the central hills. CPEI exists for the benefit of its members, partners and the general public, Cycling PEI provides education and leadership that contributes to a vibrant and healthy cycling experience on Prince Edward Island.
Scouts Canada is the largest youth organization is Canada. It provides opportunities for child to learn, have fun, and develop skills that will lead the to success. This organization is filled with friendly people who love to experience new adventure and teach others about useful and fun skills. Scouts is looking to start new groups in Charlottetown and would love to have some new faces to join our great organization.
Scottish Cultural Organization for Traditional Dance in Canada promotes and foster participation in Highland dancing as a sport and cultural art form within Canada and provide opportunities for world-class competitions and championships for dance athletes from around the world. ScotDance PEI is a provincial affiliate of ScotDance Canada and host of the ScotDance Canada Championship Series 2017 in Charlottetown, June 29-July 3, 2017. Hundreds of volunteers and corporate collaborators are needed to help with this event including transportation, security, stage and stair construction, décor, registration, guest services, scoring, and more.
Ringette PEI is the Provincial Sport Organization that oversees ringette associations in Charlottetown, Summerside, Souris, Montague and Rustico.  We manage house league programs and high-performance teams for local and national competition.
We are the PEI Member Body of National Darts Federation of Canada.  We strive to reach and represent all those who are interested in the sport of darts throughout PEI.  We are open ages 9 and up of any gender.  We will host fundraising and competitive events that are open to the public and exclusive to members.  Anyone is eligible to inquire on membership purchase by contacting director@peidarts.org
We are a non-profit amateur sports organization that teaches children how to skate and we provide programs in learning the sport of speed skating.
Triathlon PEI is the provincial sport governing body, dedicated to the growth, development and promotion of triathlon, duathlon, aquathon and winter triathlon in Prince Edward Island. Triathlon PEI is committed to fostering health and wellness through the sport of triathlon (swimming, cycling and running) for all athletes, regardless of skill or age. One of our key goals is maximizing participation in Triathlon and multisport activities from youth and grass roots to elite levels in Prince Edward Island. We believe this will be an exceptional year as we have numerous development programs, a race series and events for all ages.
The Sherwood Parkdale Rural Minor Hockey Association (SPRMHA), which draws its players from Sherwood and surrounding rural communities within its boundaries, is a local minor hockey association. The Association is made up of about 450 members aged from 4 years old to 18 years old. There are several male and female divisions at various levels of play. Hockey PEI and Hockey Canada govern the Association. The purpose of the Association (SPRMHA) is to organize, develop, and promote minor hockey within our communities. SPRMHA will strive to provide quality leadership at all levels and create an understanding of teamwork and sportsmanship in an atmosphere of fun and positive reinforcement for all players and volunteers.
Rowing PEI welcomes beginning and experienced rowers, ages 14 and up. We offer Introduction To Rowing, as well as a summer-long program of rowing in Charlottetown, Brackley, and Brudenell.
Community Building, Health and Wellness Through Social Dance Two Right Feet Dance Inc. is a non-profit group, dedicated to community, wellness, and inclusivity through social dance for adults. Operating as DownStreet Dance Studio, we offer classes, workshops, and events for adults to build and grow community, and move and stretch body and mind, while gaining useful skills and confidence.
